Clear laquer over vinyl decals?

To all you bodywork experts on the forum, can a clear laquer be sprayed over vinyl decals?

Any special tricks for clear-coating a new paint job?

You can, but some decals react with some clears and can bubble, best to just apply over.

I have cleared over decals, I wouldn't use laquer (if you can even get it) I've used a clear that is the same clear with base coat clear and it worked fine, careful though, that the coats are thin and set good between flash time.
But I wouldn't clear over decals on a race bike, that would just make way too much work after the first crash.
