I've given the "old rust bucket" back her dignity:

Hi, Everyone.

Can anyone suggest a good way to fill the space under the tail-piece? Plastic and zip ties?

Nice job Rick, does this mean you will be racing it this year? If you wanted to fab a sheet of fiberglass to use as filler, I reccomend doing some fiberglass mat on a sheet of that white aborite or something similar as the resin will not bond with it then cut/paint and zip tie to fit. My 2 pennies.

Thanks Kent. I'll try your suggestion.
