    250 Gold Cup

Had them on my '08 250, but not the '03 ZZR that I'll be using. Unfortunately it's quite hard to find non-OEM parts for a ZZR since the EX-250 in the US wasn't updated to the ZZR like the rest of the world was.

    250 Gold Cup

So what are people doing about the engine case guards? Is there a better solution than having some plates welded to the engine?

    250 Gold Cup

Yay, thread hijacks... I have a question as well. I also have an old ZZR250, but it has no fairing at all (had an accident). Would it be alright to race without fairing (provided the vents and drains are routed to a bottle)?

    GP class

My guess would be that a CBR125 would be in the 1:20 range, compared to my approx. 1:14 average. Not sure if anyone's ran a CBR125 at Strato. I don't recall ever seeing any.

    GP class

I ran my Ninja 250 in Lightweight and Formula GP. I got permission from Ian & the Execs to enter into GP, I would contact him and see if they'll allow the CBR. 250 Cup at Strato would be fun.

    2013 Season Rule Changes

I am intimately familiar with how fun time trials are. It doesn't hold a candle to actual competition. Instead of giving up on the less popular classes, why not think of ways to increase attendance? - Direct contingency (perhaps based on attendance?) - Store credit (such as Blair's thing for...

    03-05 R6 who races one?

If you haven't already, I'd check out the classifieds here on the forum, as well as on the CMRA and WRMC forums. Usually used race bikes are a bit cheaper than bikes off Kijiji, with the added bonus that they're (usually) track ready.

    GP class

My best time on a Ninja 250 was 1:12.087. I think the 125 GP bikes typically run in the 1:05 to 1:08 range, and Ian's best is around 1:00 on a TZ250, IIRC. Even though I was never in serious competition with anyone, I still had fun. I was 1st overall in points last season even though I was...
