Shane just get a set of brembos.. I saw sportbiketrackgear.com had a set for around 2100

Yes they swap I'll be putting a set on my gixxer. The r6 calipers need a washer under them if they are going on the gsxr or they'll rub on the rotors. Apparently they are a brembo design and have way better feel and less brake fade.

Well now I want to research this, I wasn't aware the R6 caliper was a mono block design..

these are not for me, for a buddies build that he is doing. he prefers the look of the tokiko calipers over the r6 ones.

i said brembos, but they were too pricey for him, lol i would love brembos, but i dont thinkthey will make me faster.

oh and yes, 04-06 r1 and the 06+ r6 calipers are the same and are monoblock colin.
