Round 1 will be May 28-29! PLEASE READ the following as there have been many changes to the race weekend! During the race weekend please remember that with all the changes being made there may be some issues to work out. The EMRA exec and volunteers will work as fast as they can to sort out any issues, but please remember to be patient. The EMRA racer community as a whole takes great pride in setting the highest example of sportsmanship, kindness and gratitude toward each other, spectators and families. Please continue to be a part of that.

PARKING:
EARLY PARKING FRIDAY EVENING. It will be possible to park trailers at the track Friday evening in preparation for the race weekend.

Please enter the facility through the EMRA gates.

PLEASE NOTE Castrol Raceway management has request no spectator vehicle parking in the pit area. Spectators are asked to park in the spectator parking field as soon as they enter the Castrol Raceway facility. That means motorcycles, volunteer vehicles, trailers and the vehicle towing the trailer will be the only vehicles in the pits. This parking must be strictly adhered to! It is understood this is not the most convenient parking situation for spectators, friends and family. But Castrol Raceway management has allowed the EMRA to run its own gate as long as we follow the parking guidelines they set out. Running our own gate is absolutely critical for the financial stability of the club, we do not want to lose this. For race day pit set up please see the parking map below. If for whatever reason a vehicle of yours needs to be moved you will be asked politely one time to move it.

PRE-TECH AND TECH

There will be a 'pre-tech' set up during the Friday track attack day. Feel free to bring your bike and gear to the track Friday during the day for a 'pre-tech' inspection. Saturday morning once you get through registration and get your tech sheet with your numbers and races on it go to tech with your tech sheets. Have them checked over then collect your tech sticker(s). Tech will open at 7:30am and closed at 8:00am for riders meeting. If you will not be able to have your bike ready for tech by then please find and make arrangements with Dana Draper/Black #77 (Chief technical inspector). Registration and tech will work as quickly as possible to get everybody out on the track. Tech is not there to bust chops and keep you off the track. It is a second set of eyes to help you ensure that your gear and bike have done the minimum that the EMRA racing community, believes will help make racing a safer experience for everybody.

If we've rented transponders, where/when do we pick those up? And will we be able to see our practice lap times on Saturday with the rental transponder?

I'm new, and not sure how everything works...

You can pick up your rental transponder at morning registration. Times will be posted after each rotation of the 4 practice groups.
