Round 1 will be June 2-3!

THERE HAVE BEEN MANY CHANGES! PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING AND TO BE FULLY PREPARED AND UP TO DATE! There will be NO exceptions to the rules below.

AIR FENCE SET UP: Air fence set up will take place at Castrol Thursday May 31 at 7pm. Due to schedule circumstances the air fence set up will be completed at 4PM Friday, it will be a bit of a rushed set up so please stay tuned to forum and social media posts for more info. Please check the air fence volunteer sign up program on the EMRA website forums.

To summarize: partial set up thursday May 31, and final corners done on friday June 1st at 4PM. No bikes will be allowed on track until this is done. Please volunteer if you are able to help and get your deposit back!!

TECH AND REGISTRATION:

For 2018, the EMRA will continue to use MotorsportReg for registration, and MyLaps for timing and gridding. This allows us to process membership applications online and simplifies the process for both members and administration. The system has become the industry standard across North America - MotoAmerica, AFM and UtahSBA are all using the same system among others.

Please also take note of a change in the registration policy. ONLINE Registration will only be open until Wednesday May 30th at midnight, and in person at the track Saturday June 2nd for any late registrations and check in. There will be registration on Sunday morning, if you are planning to only race Sunday and will not be attending Saturday, email [email protected] to let us know so we can get you checked in in advance. Any late registration be prepared to be gridded at the back of your races. Grids will be posted on Saturday after registration closes (qualifying grids at the end of the day) you must let us know by the end of practice day if you see any problems that need to be corrected.

We are doing everything we can to make registration and gridding as smooth as possible, and to make the registration process easy to follow, but please make sure to read through registration instructions FIRST, and email us with any issues ([email protected]) SECOND.

There will be NO debit card payment at the track. If you did not pay online please bring cash, cheque or credit card to the track for payment. The late fee for registration is still $50.

Tech and registration will be open from 6-8PM on Friday June 1st. Both registration and tech are being opened in advance of Saturday morning in an effort to reduce lineups and save time. If you want to register and get your bike teched, it is in your best interest to show up early. We are volunteering our time to get a head start on the weekend, so this is done on a best effort basis, if it passes the cut off time you will need to wait until Saturday morning for registration and tech.

TECH RULE CHANGES TO NOTE:

-No cameras or camera mounts on helmets.
-All bikes must have an oil retaining, “sealed” lower fairing (where commercially available). Removable rain drainage plug is optional. Aftermarket, OEM-style bodywork and custom fairing mounts may be used. Fairings must be securely mounted in at least three locations.
-Motorcycles must carry a functioning transponder at all times while on track, including practice.
-It is up to YOU, the rider, to ensure your transponder is working to get your lap times and finishing position. if your transponder is not working, you get a DNF/DNS or last place finish.
