Gpx Pro lap timer

Just picked up a GpX Pro lap timer from a local racer, I'm really pleased with it. Only question I have is how in the world do you get the backlight on. I've tried in the settings and no go. Wondering if anyone out there knows how to get it lit. It's not a big deal timer works great but would like the back light especially if im gonna use it for my insturment cluster. Thanks any ideas would be great.
