2015 RULE CHANGES:

PARKING:

Castrol Raceway has finished paving a large area for our pits! Lets all work together to keep this new area organized and easily accessible for everyone that needs the larger space. Be mindful of other riders and their pit areas and traffic through the pits. Please be aware that we will still be sharing the Castrol Raceway facility with a large number of drag racers. Please see the parking map below. The areas in white are reserved for vendors and the tech tent area. The newly paved area highlighted in blue is reserved for anyone with a large trailer, please ensure when parking a large trailer that it is perpendicular to the tree line. If for whatever reason a vehicle of yours needs to be moved you will be asked politely one time to move it.

PRE-TECH AND TECH

There will be a 'pre-tech' set up during the friday evening track attack. Feel free to bring your bike and gear to the track friday evening for a 'pre-tech' inspection. You will be given a blank tech sheet, all the items on the sheet will be checked off during the inspection as normal. Saturday morning once you get through registration and get your tech sheet with your numbers and races on it go to tech with your 'pre-tech' sheet, have both tech sheets checked over then collect your tech sticker(s). In order to assist track officials and scoring please ensure your race numbers are visible. If your numbers have been deemed difficult to read by race officials you will be asked to modify them in order to make them clear. Please remember to sign ALL the appropriate waivers at registration. There will be a tech tent set up and tech will open at 8am and closed at 8:30am for riders meeting. If you will not be able to have your bike ready for tech by then please find and make arrangements with Dana Draper (Chief technical inspector). Please make sure you bring your bike (lowers removed) and all your gear you plan to race with to tech for inspection. Registration and tech will work as quickly as possible to get everybody out on the track. Tech is not there to bust chops and keep you off the track. It is a second set of eyes to help you ensure that your gear and bike have done the minimum that the EMRA racing community, believes will help make racing a safer experience for everybody.
