depending on the suit, this might not be possible (or quite labor intensive/costly). speaking from experience.

if there is shin armor, and its built in, you would likely be SOL. if you only need a couple inches taken off the bottom it might not be too bad (if theres no armor)
 
Best to check if you need it off the cuff or between the knee and hip. 99% of the ones we do are between the hip and knee. Which makes it much more difficult. If you trim it off the ankle and then get on the bike and your knee armour rides up to the right spot, you may be too short now at the ankle. So make sure the knee armour is in the right spot when sitting on the bike. Then determine where the excess is. Usually it is above the knee
