Join us to watch the excitement of two wheeled racing at Castrol Raceway!

The track is located in Leduc County, west of highway 2 on exit 525 - Highway 19. From Highway 19, you will turn south on to Range Road 253 where you see the Castrol Raceway sign.

Parking is one of the first right hand turns into the large gravel parking lot. Spectator gates are located in the southwest corner of the parking lot.

There is a very limited amount of parking available in the pit area, we can make accommodation for anyone with reduced mobility (please contact us in advance), otherwise please use the public parking area. Any vehicles left unattended in the drag racing pit area may be towed.

Make sure you identify yourself as a spectator for the EMRA event, as other events are run concurrently at Castrol raceway and some may have a higher gate fee.

The gate fee for EMRA events is $10, children 12 and under are free.

From the spectator gates, to get to the stands beside the road course where the EMRA races, you will need to follow the path that curves around to the drag racing tower, if there are no racing events you can cross the lanes there, or cross over via the stairs and overpass if there is an event running. From there, you can walk through the open pits, visit with racers, and make your way to the stands. For clearer direction, see the map below

Castrol Raceway has permanent washrooms located in the drag racing tower, and beside the drag racing stands. The facility also has a playground for children, concessions (as outside food is not allowed).

For your safety, please pay attention to signs - spectators are not allowed in the hot pit area / pit lane beside the road course where motorcycles will be riding.

The EMRA races rain or shine, so come prepared! The spectator stands are not covered, so bring sunscreen and an umbrella as the weather can change quickly.

The stands are located close to the track, and drag racing events can run simultaneously, often at a high noise level, so ear plugs are a good idea to protect your hearing. If you didn't bring any, feel free to stop by registration under the Argyll Motorsports tent, and we can provide you a set.
