Please sign the once a year Stratotech Park waiver as well:

Airfence and required equipment is being set up at Stratotech July 11 at 7:00pm and 9pm. DO NOT PARK IN THE PIT AREA BEFORE THEN. There is a car event running from 5-9pm. Park in the grass, walk over and help with air fence. If you can make it, please contact Joe Preston so he knows you are coming to help set up. Track tear down will begin immediately after the race weekend. Track tear has been the most difficult to find help with by far this year. Please stick around and help tear down the track after the event. We will get multiple teams going and doing this at the same time to make it as fast as possible.

Parking and setting up pits will begin after the car event, after the air fence is set up. At no time may you park sooner, YOU WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE. I REPEAT YOU WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE. Air fence volunteers will get first dibs on parking spots for the weekend. Large trailer parking is reserved for toy haulers, camper and RV units, please park along the main building wall and along turn 9 trees. If you park somewhere you shouldn't you will be asked once to move, then asked to leave. We have VERY limited parking available. Overnight camping is allowed, trailers only no tents.

Registration closes at 11:59pm Tuesday July 9. $50 late fee will be charged after Tuesday at midnight in the week of the race round. Registration will reopen for 24 hours only. Registration will have a HARD CLOSE on Wednesday at Midnight in the week of the race round. After the hard close deadline- the only modification permitted is dropping a race, which MUST be done with notice to the Registrar in advance of the race start. Your race fee for the dropped race will be added to your MotorsportReg account as a credit for future events. NO race entry additions or changes permitted after the hard close deadline.

The EMRA has MotorsportReg for registration, MyLaps for timing & gridding, and RaceHero for live timing. Down load those apps on your phone to check times and results. Share them with your friends.

Tech will be Thursday evening in pit, as time permits and Friday morning. Please do not stand around all evening in the pits, then ask the Tech Inspector to check your bike at 9pm, please do not stand around all Friday morning and ask to be teched 5 min before your first session. Tech will also be Saturday, and Sunday morning starting approx 7AM. Cones will be setup near the sponsor display. Please make an orderly line. If a bike is sitting in the tech lineup with no rider or gear, we will pass over the bike. Please remove lowers for easy inspection.

Transponders are available at Rodrigo Naranjo’s tent, and medical data carriers will be available with Dawne Jewitt. Transponders rentals are $50 per weekend, MDCs are $5 each to purchase. This year the medical data carrier are blue in color, make sure you have a bright blue MDC.

Track must remain clean, garbage cans and recycle cans will be placed around the pits, please be a polite user dispose of your own garbage and keep the pit area clean. Do not leave tires, fuel tins, broken tents.

Startotech Park we use 2 warm up laps.

-Motorheads Track Attacks Superpole:
In the last rotation of qualifying, the final session will be divided into Q1, and Q2 Superpole sessions. Q1 is for group 4 riders outside of the top 10. Q2 Superpole participation is limited to the 10 riders with the fastest lap times of the day. Riders in Q1 may not participate in Q2 Superpole. Each Q2 Superpole riders must be registered for Dash for Cash and at least one Superbike race. The results from the Q2 session will be used to set the grid positions at the front of Dash for Cash and Expert Superbike races. This only affects Dash for Cash and Expert Superbike.

-Practice Strat Procedure:
Next round, round 4 here at Stratotech we will try a new race start practice. This similar to the practice starts at other events. After lunch (only one time after lunch) for the first rotation of groups, so groups 1-2-3-4, after the checkered flag comes out and riders come in you will have the option to line up at the gate, when cleared by race control you will enter the track, do one warm up lap, then line up at the grid and do one practice start in the position you choose. Do the parctice start around turn 1 and down the back straight, after turn 2 put your hand up, get off the race line, slow down at a control rate and proceed into the pits. We will test this out, check feedback from riders and maybe make it a normal thing for events at Stratotech only.

-Supermoto Race:
At Stratotech we have a Supermoto only race after lunch.

-Team Championship:
This championship consists of 4 riders per team. Riders may only be on one team. Team points are the combined total of each rider’s point results from each round; and the team with the highest combined point total will be awarded a custom team trophy at the year end banquet. Points are awarded to the rider, not the bike; riding two bikes in different classes can earn additional points for that rider. There are no limitations on bikes or race entries. To enter, you must register with one of the EMRA Executive prior to Round 1 and pay an $80 (per team) entry fee.

-AMRA Saturday Evening Test and Tune:
The AMRA will be holding a Est and Tune session at Stratotech Saturday evening. They have asked if we would like to help out and are looking for two corner workers. Check out their website for more info how you can get involved with this club and help support youth racing in Alberta.

If any of these changes are a surprise to you, please read the rule book. Here is a link:
