This discussion is created to be a place for those who are wishing to run for an position on the 2025 EMRA executive, or as a place to nominate those who you feel would be a great executive for the 2025 year.
It is not mandatory to state your nominations here, (nominations will still be accepted at the AGM,) but it will be a place to promote yourself and let club members know in advance that you are running; for what position; and why they should vote for you.

Executive positions include the following:
• President
• Vice President
• Secretary
• Treasurer
• Registrar
• General Director positions, including, but not limited to some specifically required tasks such as:
- air fence
- tech
- timing/grids
- track attacks
- volunteer coordinator

Voting for the 2025 executive board will happen in person at the AGM on December 7, 2024.
Register to attend the AGM.

I am running for Secretary for the 2025 executive team.

I am a detail oriented person with skills and experience interpreting and writing technical documents, similar to our rule book and bylaws. I have been with the club for 9 years, and I worked on the exec team from 2019 to 2021 as the volunteer coordinator. After a break from the exec team I am ready to contribute to the club again in a bigger way. Secretary is the 3rd position in seniority on the exec team, and responsible for filling in for the president and vice president when they are not available; for example if there is a serious incident when they are both on track. With my years of experience with the club and being on the exec team before I feel that I will be a good choice for secretary, and I hope you will support me.

I look forward to seeing everyone at the AGM (annual general meeting).

The best clubs around have the hardest working Executive teams. The EMRA is no exception. HUGE thank you to everyone that was part of the Exec this past season. First ones in and last ones out, the work for Exec started in January with the first exec meetings (most meetings run 3-4 hours), then at the Motorcycle shows, fundraisers, exec meetings, race school, Endurance race, every race round, CSBK round, CMRA round, FIM MiniGP, Banquet, you name it, the Exec were there putting in the hours needed to make this club great. The off season is short, Exec are already repairing and maintaining our equipment for next season, it never stops. It is a massive commitment of time and energy. Thank you to everyone.

We will be looking to fill a few key vacant positions and we are always looking for new team members of the Exec. Please be mindful of the commitment level involved with being on the Exec and the learning curve that comes along with it. We have meeting minutes, bylaws, policy manual and rule book that every Exec will need to know. Give those a read and be up to speed for the AGM in a few weeks time. We have a packed exciting season in 2025 coming up, can wait to see you all and be a part of it!

Hi all!

I am going to run to be your registrar again in 2025. I hope I've generally made the event registration process smoother in the past couple years (with the exception of the occasional racer or registrar oopsie).

I'll also be looking to refine the registration process a bit more more in 2025 if possible.

See you at the AGM!

I am running for Volunteer Coordinator for the 2025 executive team.

I have been with the club for 6 years, 5 years as race director and 3 years as volunteer coordinator. I have enjoyed both roles immensely and hope to get voted back on for the next season.

See you all at the AGM!!
