AIR FENCE SETUP
No air fence setup required Thursday evening Joe Preston worked that out with track management, and you can all thank him later for it. Track tear down will begin immediately after the race weekend. That will be your last chance to get your air fence deposits back.
PARKING
Parking and set up will begin after the drift event taking place until 9pm. Large trailer parking is reserved for toy haulers, camper and RV units. If you park somewhere you shouldn't you will be asked once to move, then asked to leave. We have VERY limited parking available. Overnight camping is allowed, trailers only, no tents. Please see the map below.
TECH AND REGISTRATION:
Registration closes at Tuesday 11:59pm September 10th. $50 late fee will be charged after Tuesday at midnight in the week of the race round. Registration will reopen for 24 hours only. Registration will have a HARD CLOSE on Wednesday at Midnight in the week of the race round. After the hard close deadline- the only modification permitted is dropping a race, which MUST be done with notice to the Registrar in advance of the race start. Your race fee for the dropped race will be added to your MotorsportReg account as a credit for future events. NO race entry additions or changes permitted after the hard close deadline. Tech will be will be setup, see map. Please make an orderly line. If a bike is sitting in the tech lineup with no rider or gear, we will pass over the bike. Please remove lowers for easy inspection. THERE WILL BE NO IN PIT TECH. Tech will be Thursday evening in the grass drag parking lot from 5-9pm while the drift event on the normal pit area takes place. Please do not stand around all evening in the pits, then ask the Tech Inspector to check your bike at 10pm. Saturday, and Sunday morning Tech will be starting approx. 7AM.
TRANSPONDERS
Transponders are available through Andrew Mcelheran, and medical data carriers will be available with Dawne Jewett. Transponders rentals are $50 per weekend for Novice, $75 per weekend for Intermediate and Expert racers, MDCs are $5 each to purchase. This year the medical data carrier are black in color, make sure you have a black MDC.
AIR VEST INCENTIVE
Racers who are wearing air vests may receive a credit on their second race EVERY ROUND. (up to $30 value per round). Qualify for this safety incentive: during tech inspection racers must prove they have an air vest that qualifies.
MOTORHEADS TRACK ATTACK SUPERPOLE SESSION
In the last rotation of qualifying, the final session will be divided into Q1, and Q2 Superpole sessions. Q1 is for group 4 riders outside of the top 10. Q2 Superpole participation is limited to the fastest 10 riders. The results from the Q2 session will be used to set the grid positions at the front of Dash for Cash and Expert Superbike races.
BANQUET
Oct. 25th, circle the date on the calendar, we have a fantastic room and some special plans for the event.
SATURDAY BBQ
We will be hosting a free hot dog BBQ after racing on Saturday. Stick around, enjoy some great company and great food.
ADDITIONAL NOTES
THE SPEED LIMIT AT THE FACILITY IS 30KPH. Only track set up vehicle are allowed on track during set up. No, you cannot drive around the track. While setting up the track the speed limit remains 30kph. The track must remain clean, garbage cans and recycle cans will be placed around the pits, please be a polite user dispose of your own garbage and keep the pit area clean. Do not leave tires, fuel tins, broken tents. Anyone caught dumping garbage will be fined. If you are riding anything motorized you must be wearing a helmet. No doubling on motorized vehicles. Pets MUST be on leashes at all times. Please pick up after your pet. Rad Torque Raceway we use 1 warm up lap. Riders meeting 8am. Formula112 cutoff time is 1:27.731sec. Formula 108 cutoff time is 1:24.597sec.
PODIUMS AFTER RACES SUNDAY:
On SUNDAY ONLY, there will a slight change for podiums, we will doing Expert Superbike race podium, then podiums based on Championships with Champagne to congratulate to seasons winners of the 600Superbike, Superbike, Middleweight Superbike and Lightweight Superbike races. We will also arrange checkered flag laps after Sundays races on the east short track lay out. Our photographers will be ready to take pics of anyone winning a Championship on track with the checkered flag. Burnouts are permitted AFTER the races in front of the grandstands ONLY.
