GSXR 600 (2006) Gearing

Hey all

Plan to hit some track days soon. Does anyone fast have recommendations on gearing for the GSXR 600? track is much faster than Stratotech. Is it close to what Calgary gearing was?

I think Matt was running -1/+4 out there this weekend. He'd probably be able to give some good feedback

depends on what kind of skill level youre at.

CBR's run -1 +2, slower guys can benefit with +3 in the back until they get a bit faster.

i found -1 +2 a bit long when i was in the 1:40s, great for my pace now.low 30s high 20s.

I have most gear combinations for Gixxers, $20 a day to try a Vortex gear change, change out to another size as many times as you like on the same day. I am at, or available, most track days.

Same gearing as Stratotech will get you pretty close Dave. The rest of you know who Michelin Man is right?

Yup that’s about right. With that combo I get into 5th on the two longer straights.
