Home and Home series with another race club...

Have we ever considered doing a Home and Home event with another race club to promote a bit of travel and friendly rivalry between clubs? We could propose it to WMRC. One weekend we send 8 riders to Vancouver, and one weekend they send 8 riders to Edmonton. It could be 2 riders from each displacement class (1000cc, 600cc, Middleweights, Lightweights) picked by the club Execs, and we have a little weekend series between the clubs. It could be kind of like the old Transatlantic Match Races between Britain and the US. I've got some ideas about how we could integrate the visiting club into our grid and make it fair.

The 2020 season looks to have people interested in travelling to different tracks, so maybe it could work. I would be willing to take the lead on this if the club members supported the idea.

Thoughts?

We used to have the western Canadian championships. But after the move to castrol there was zero interest from the mission guys to come out to Edmonton.
And it’s better to leave it open to anybody instead of a select few.

Half the issue is for guys here for not much longer a drive can go race umc and the guys there for a much shorter drive can go race a few different tracks like the ridge.
