Justin and I were talking about this yesterday. I had posted the 2 places we have preferred rates at but with the "redo" of the website, I think they are gone.
Here are the cut and past from the 2 places.
The first response was from the Glenmore Inn (5 minutes from the track). Very good accomodations and good food service.

The Glenmore Inn would appreciate being one of the host hotels for your event.
We can offer the following rates for that weekend:
Standard Garden Rooms (2 queen beds)-$116+taxes
Premier Tower Rooms (Larger room, 2 queen beds, fridge)-$129+taxes
These rates will be guaranteed until one month prior to arrival and then anyone who books after will be given rates based on availability.
Please have your teams contact me directly to book. Thank you for choosing the Glenmore Inn, I look forward to working with you.

We have another very nice option. The Deerfoot Inn and Casino is the closest to Race City of any hotel in Calgary. Breakfast is included. Please see the Copy and Paste below:

Your attendees will have until 28 August 2009 to book their reservations. After that date, I cannot guarantee the rate.
