Theft insurance

Does anybody know if anyone insures motorcycles with a salvage title for theft?

my insurance company would not insure my race bike unless I insured it fully for the road (which is dumb)

they have no problem insuring it, but i couldn't add it to my home owners insurance or anything like that special.

Pretty much the same situation as Brian, I asked if I could insure it as "parked" to no avail.

having said that, my bike has an active registration on it and full coverage isn't that expensive.. My main concern would be insurance denying my claim if something happens since its used for competition/off road.

i'll ask my insurance company, my bike is brand new and the only coverage i have on it is fire and theft so "parked" has lived its life thus far at the track and they are well aware of that. i'll get back to you by monday of next week with some contact info when i find out the information
