I would like to ask that any racers who received an annual trophy (that is passed on year after year) from 2016 that you please bring it to Castrol Raceway this weekend so I can get them prepared for the 2017 winners. That includes:
Intermediate rookie of the year. (Andreas Schultz)
Expert rookie of the year. (Ryan Body)
Most improved. (Christina Mitchell)
The Spirit award. (Blam)
Dave Presiloski. (Mike Cormier)
Leo Johnson. (Trusty volunteer brothers)
The superbike champion award (Mike Z)
Also if anyone has finished top 3 in an Intermediate or Expert race this year, as long as that race had 5 competitors or more start it, you are eligible for a beautiful picture plaque. But to minimize the clubs' large expense and to prevent the club from purchasing plaques that people do not collect we ask that you put $20 towards them. Doesn't matter whether you had 1 podium or 10 podiums. (Usually I fit about 7 finishes to each plaque, so 6 podiums gets you one plaque but 8 podiums will get you two broken up nicely by class, typically.)
