Okay people, if we take all of our money from our piggy banks and pool it together. Then re-mortage our houses and max out the credit cards, do we have enough purchase the Strat ourselves???

I was pretty upset reading that article this am! Hope something works out as loosing this track would be horrible. I don't make it down south as often as I would like but if the track closed before I move to Edmonton that would suck!

Government grant?

Let's apply for a government grant to buy the track for the club! We're a non-profit and should be eligible for prov and fed funding.

PS, there is also talks between Honda and the U of A Engineering faculty to build a permanent test track on the farm site! City of Ed likes this idea for keeping the Indy and attracting other race events to our city. Tell your Councilor you love the idea!!

A track in the city? If noise is a problem for Dan out in the country, a city track probably wouldn't work. Hopefully there's a motorsports friendly buyer out there somewhere.

River cree would be the place they have the room and the $$ to build a track and not in the city limits, plus the casino would still pull people in..just my 2cnts;)

This was the other rumor making the rounds. Paragon gaming could easily afford this and would see the business oportunity
