Drift Innovation Ghost-S w/external mic

Hey guys, just thought I'd put up a video of The Drift Ghost-S with the external mic hooked up. It's an awesome camera, but since it doesn't require a case, the wind noise can get horrendous. This is a pretty good option for the Drift cams. Except when it was under the tail, probly still need some kind of wind deflector when it's that exposed at higher speeds.

Anyway, I thought it might help if anyone was curious.

Can't seem to get the vid up with the "[YT]" code. Here's the link: http://youtu.be/fuGtqM8ta8E

P.S. - vid was taken on the Sept. 21st HardnoX track day. Such a good day!

What frame rate and video quality was that shot at? Looks better than my gopro at 720p and 60fps

Hey Justin, it was at 720P/ 60fps as well. That's what I normally shoot in, unless I know I'm gonna want slo-mo, then I'll bump it up to 120fps.

Which editing software

I have a Drift also. What are you using for editing software? I have a boatload of video and no idea how to edit it..

Thanks for the heads-up on the external mic. I'll get one. It's too noisy without it.

Cheers,

Rob

Hi Rob,

I use Final Cut Pro X. It's specifically for a Mac tho. It's $300, which is actually a pretty good deal for such good software. It's very similar to iMovie which comes included on the Mac, it just is much more in depth. I can play around with it, but there's soooo much you can do if you're proficient with it. It's pretty easy to learn as well, but YouTube is your friend when learning for sure.

If you have a PC, I've heard Adobe Premier is really good, but I'm not sure of the cost. I'd have to google it up. There's a few different versions of it I think. Like "Premier Elements" for basic editing and then the full blown version.

Good luck with the editing! It can eat up a lot of time haha.

Oh, If you need a mic, Ive got two left right now. Just FYI.

Glen.
